One side of the coin shows the U.S. Air Force logo insignia and the surround reads: “TRI BORDERS COMMUNITY U.S. AIR FORCE.”

The other side displays the American flag and an American Eagle with the surround inscribed: “Colors of Freedom 2001 Annual Awards Banquet.”

This coin measures about 36 mm in diameter.

This coin (about 36 mm in diameter) is much larger than both USA quarter (24.26 mm in diameter) and USA half dollar (30.61 mm in diameter).

This coin has never been used but does show some signs of age.  Please see photos.
