THE AFRICAN ELEPHANT IS TRULY AWESOME, WEIGHING BETWEEN 4 AND 7 TONS AND STANDING 9.8 TO 13.1 FEET TALL.  ELEPHANTS ARE THE LARGEST EXISTING LAND MAMMALS AND HAVE THE BIGGEST BRAINS IN THE ANIMAL KINGDOM ( WEIGHING ABOUT 11 POUNDS).  MANY CONSIDER ELEPHANTS TO BE “LUCKY ANIMALS.”

1 Franc coin is about 5/8 inch diameter; 2 Francs coin is about 7/8 inch diameter.

The coins you receive may vary somewhat in appearance from the ones shown in the photos but will be in the same general condition.  The dates of these coins may also differ from the dates of the coins in the photos but the dates will fall between 1944 and 1949.  The dates of the two coins in the set are usually not the same. These coins have some toning/ spotting/ oxidation related to their age of over 60 years and to their being circulated.
