This Imagination Gala A Magic Carpet Event Jumbo pin is for the Best Couple and it goes to Mickey & Minnie Mouse.  This pin was designed by Alex Maher.  The pin shows the couple kissing in cartoon short scenes throughout the years including black and white Plane Crazy, The Brave Little Tailor, and Runaway Brain.  In the center of the pin is Mickey and Minnie dressed in gala attire with a blue starry night sky behind them.  The pin features pin on pin element with sculpted base metal cavity as well as translucent and glitter paint fills.  It was released at the 2014 WDW Imagination Gala – A Magic Carpet Event.  This event was the Disney Trade Celebration 2014 and took place September 5 – 7, 2014 at World ShowPlace in Epcot.  At the event, Disney honored its ‘bests’ in Disney films, storytelling, characters and attractions with an Imagination Award, represented by none other than a Golden Figment.
