Background Info For Kym Bowles Lollysticks Notecards:

Kym Bowles is a Freelance Designer and Illustrator who has won the coveted Louie Award for Greetings Card illustration.  Notably, she describes her style as whimsical.  Importantly, people all over know her for her line of Lollysticks ornaments.  In fact, over the years, some fifty or so companies have licensed Kym’s work for use on their products.  Moreover, today, her work can be seen on greetings cards, stationery, gift wrap, gift bags, gift tins, Christmas decorations, ceramics, fabrics, quilts, needlepoint, jigsaws and many, many more.  On the negative side, sadly, in 2013 Kym lost her fight with cancer and she passed away.

Background Info For Marian Heath:

In 2001 the Greeting Card Association presented Mrs. Heath (the founder of Marian Heath Greeting Cards Company) with the first-ever Esther Howland Award for Greeting Card Visionaries.  Of course, Mrs. Heath attended the Award ceremonies in Manhattan, surrounded by her friends and family.  Later, she passed away in March of 2002 at the age of 95.  Indeed, this remarkable, industrious, ingenious, single mom created more than a company; she created a legacy of quality, commitment and passion.
